Pay Rate: $20.00 hourly
SummaryThe Bottling Production Operator uses automated equipment to fill, package finished liquid product, and place product into final secondary package according to product specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities- Operate and control bottling machinery, including fillers, cappers, labelers, and conveyors, to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Monitor production output to maintain product quality standards, conduct routine quality checks, and identify and address deviations.
- Monitor quality standards/specifications set by the quality manager and notify lead/management of any related issues.
- Report any deviations/issues to lead/management promptly.
- See bottling production through, including packing the final product per company standards and requirements.
- Manage product counts and report to management as requested.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE, and follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks on bottling equipment to ensure optimal performance; report malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team.
- Ensure company procedures are followed for the weekly bottling preventative maintenance & cleaning documentation.
- Sign off on required checklists/documentation per company procedures for weekly work completed.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians, quality control personnel, and production supervisors to achieve production goals and resolve operational issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Work in tandem with management on job functions, questions, issues, or concerns with production procedures with Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technicians.
- Attend all company meetings and training as required by the company.
- Language Ability: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails/memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
- Math Ability: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out detailed but simple written or oral instructions; handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Equipment: Pallet jack, powered industrial trucks (forklifts), automated labelers, sealers, coders & fillers, gravity filler, box erector, pallet wrapper, depalletizer.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities: Attention to detail and ability to follow written and oral procedures; organizational and communication skills; learning and growth mindset; basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

- Hourly wage of the selected finalist will be set based on departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, and training.
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to climb or balance, and taste or smell. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required: close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work EnvironmentRegular exposure to energized equipment, moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. Occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non‑weather), extreme heat (non‑weather), and vibration. Noise level usually moderate.
