Express Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- PMC
Porter Medical Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team, providing coverage across Express Care and the Emergency Department.
Position Details- Full‑Time: 0.9 FTE (36 hrs./week), Exempt
- Schedule:
10–12‑hour day shifts, no nights; some weekends - Compensation Range: $56.83/hr – $79.56/hr.
- NP or PA degree from an accredited program
- Vermont license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS & ACLS required
- 1+ year Urgent Care or acute care experience preferred
A 25‑bed critical care hospital in Middlebury, VT, Porter is part of the University of Vermont Health Network and offers hospital, primary, specialty, and rehabilitation services.
Emergency Department Snapshot- Beds: 10–12 | Annual Visits: ~10,000
- Specialty support: OB, Ortho, Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Urology
- Imaging: 24/7 CT, on‑call ultrasound, weekday MRI
