Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a long-term care unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to residents aged 60 and older, focusing on their unique needs and ensuring comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering exceptional nursing care to long-term care patients
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans
  • Assisting with medication management and adherence to safety protocols
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families
  • Documenting patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record system (EPIC)
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred
  • Experience with EPIC documentation system within the last 2 years is mandatory
  • Dementia capable care certification preferred
  • Ability to work holidays as needed
  • Must not have allergies to animals, as a cat is present on the unit
