Minimum 2 years ED experience required
At least 1 completed travel contract required
Charge nurse experience required
Recent EPIC experience (within past 2 years) – non-negotiable
Teaching hospital experience:
Preferred
Certifications (AHA only unless noted)
Required:
BLS
ACLS
PALS
ENPC
NRP
NIHSS (must be completed prior to start)
TNCC (or proof of class with application date in packet)

7a–7p
11a–11p
3p–3a

Weekends:
Minimum every other
Holidays:
Required (flexible scheduling expected)
No block schedules permitted

Charge Nurse assigned 24/7
Providers:
1 MD on site 24/7
PA/NP: 0930–2130

IV insertion and venipuncture

Ambulance transports (RN may accompany)
Telemedicine and Telestroke via UVMMC
Note:
No interventional radiology or cath lab
STEMI, Stroke, Trauma, and higher-acuity pediatric cases transferred out
