We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to support a high‑volume practice focused on delivering compassionate, high‑quality eye care. The role requires strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

• Obtain and document patient history.
• Determine visual acuity and perform automated and manual refraction for diagnostic purposes.
• Conduct basic lensometry, pupillary assessment, and visual field testing.
• Administer eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions as ordered by the physician.
• Measure intraocular pressure (tonometry) and perform pre‑operative patient preparation.
• Maintain and clean equipment and instruments, including keratometry and ocular imaging (OCT, topography).
• Enter clinical data into EMR and perform other office duties such as post‑operative education.

• 3–5 years of ophthalmic technician experience preferred.
• COA certification preferred.
• Dependable transportation to travel to multiple office locations.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to seek instruction when needed.

• High school graduation from an accredited institution.
