Responsibilities
- Assist branch in meeting performance standards monthly in addition to meeting individual performance standards monthly.
- Interview members and process applications for all types of consumer loans. Review application and documentation for completeness and accuracy according to credit union compliance guidelines.
- Conduct all member account functions, including processing requests for new services, providing counseling, and cross‑selling appropriate credit union products or services to benefit the member and achieve established sales goals.
- Assist members with opening and closing accounts, answer questions about products and services and resolve problems that are within authority to resolve. Refer problems beyond authority to supervisor, along with recommendations.
- Accurately receive, inspect and verify cash and negotiable instruments for deposit, accept loan payments and a variety of other monetary transactions as directed and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Balance transaction input at the end of each workday.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform additional job duties as assigned by the manager.
- Education:
High school education or GED. - Experience:
One to three years of similar or related experience. - Other skills and abilities:

ability to apply reasonable understanding to carry out instructions; ability to deal with problems involving variables; positive attitude, flexibility, and focus on accepted policies and productivity.
- Process member financial transaction within established authority, resolve problems and answer questions regarding products and services.
- Actively participate in branch/department and staff meetings to maintain awareness of organizational issues and promotional campaigns; remain current on changes in policies, procedures, compliance and product development.
- Attend continuing education classes to enhance job knowledge and performance; take initiative for personal career development and learn new skills.
