Finance & Payroll Administrator

Ready to join a small but mighty Head Office team?

This position is a diverse support role crucial for maintaining accurate financial records within our family business. As key member of the Finance and HR function you will be responsible for the timely and accurate recording and processing of payroll and financial information on a daily basis.

This role will be supported by the Financial Controller.

What You’llDo:
  • Payroll & HR Support
    :
    Responsibilities extend to assisting with monthly payroll, collating hours, dealing with sick notes and maternity documents, and ensuring payment of PAYE. Processing new starters, contracts, right to work documents and equipment.
  • Daily Accounting
    :
    Includes posting bank receipts, supplier invoices, and bank payments, along with daily bank reconciliations.
  • Supplier & Customer Management
    :
    Involves receiving and checking supplier statements, preparing payment runs, monitoring debt, and raising customer invoices.
  • Office Administration
    :
    General administrative duties like answering telephone, using internal third party systems, utilities contracts and liaising with the bank are also included.
  • Support to Nursery Managers and employees across the business
About You:

✔ Minimum of 2 years experience in a Business Office & Finance role

✔Experience administrating payroll with payroll software

✔Good communication, careful attention to detail, and strong organisation skills

✔Trustworthy, loyal and patient

✔Experience working with/ invoicing external partners

✔Confidence to question and challenge

✔ Ideally experience working in a family business environment
