The Role Our client's school in the Middlesbrough area, looking for a part or full-time cover supervisor to work in their school to provide adhoc teaching cover. This is a great school with a fantastic and supportive headteacher, and for the right person, this could become a recurring role.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Using pre-set work left by the teacher to deliver a high standard of learning to a class of students
 
* Assessment:
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
 
* Classroom Management:
Create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to succeed
 
* Safeguarding:
Uphold the school's robust safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils

* Collaboration:

Work effectively within a team, share best practices, and communicate effectively with parents and carers
Requirements
 
* Proven experience of supporting within a secondary school setting
 
* A degree level qualification desirable but not essential
 
* Excellent behaviour management skills with a calm empathetic approach
 
* Commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to school life
   Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
