Training Instructor - Fabrication

We are looking to expand our Training Academy Team and are keen to speak to those interested in helping us develop the next generation of highly skilled platers and welders. These individuals are key to the business in developing the fabrication team from apprentice to experienced operative. Main Responsibilities of the role;
To work in accordance with Company Health, Safety & Environment procedures, policies and standard working practices. To work in accordance with Company Quality procedures, policies, and standard working practices. Delivery of trade specific competency framework for the apprentices (welders and platers) and wider workforce. Supporting Construction in the mentoring and coaching of apprentices within Academy and in production. Liaising with HR and Construction Supervision on individual skills gaps within the workforce and supporting development accordingly.

Maintaining documentation to support Training & Development Programmes. Implementation of training plans and planning of delivery to trainee cohorts. Coordination of external resources where required.
