Teacher Active is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Middlesbrough, who are looking to appoint a Pastoral Cover Supervisor on a long-term basis. The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and is committed to creating a positive learning environment where students are supported both academically and pastorally.

The school is looking for a resilient and proactive Pastoral Cover Supervisor to deliver pre-prepared work across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Pastoral Cover Supervisor will be expected to follow the school’s behaviour policies, manage challenging behaviour within the classroom and promote positive behaviour throughout the school environment.

The successful Pastoral Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with secondary school students

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Experience managing challenging behaviour

• Confidence delivering pre-prepared lessons across KS3 / KS4

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A calm, professional and adaptable approach
