GSL Education Newcastle branch are working with welcoming schools in Middlesbrough to recruit Primary Teacher. The Primary Teacher role provides an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact during the early stages of children's education while supporting both their academic and personal development.
Responsibilities of Primary Teacher:
Plan and deliver creative lessons that meet the primary curriculum
Create an inclusive classroom where every pupil feels supported and encouraged
Monitor learning progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
Promote positive behaviour and establish high expectations for learning
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil achievement
Maintain accurate records while upholding safeguarding and school policies
Requirements for Primary Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Previous experience teaching within a primary school is desirable
Good understanding of the National Curriculum and effective classroom practice
Ability to inspire young learners through engaging and creative teaching
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
