- Receive, interpret, and analyse evidence from various agencies involved in the education, health, and care assessments of children and young people with SEND.
- Prepare Education Health and Care Plans, collaborating with multi-agency services to meet specified timelines.
- Engage in place planning activities, maintaining waiting lists for specialist education provision.
- Foster strong links with schools, parents, and agencies to develop appropriate SEND provisions.
- Support continuous professional development for SENCos and related staff.
- Monitor and evaluate SEND provision and children’s progress to ensure quality and effectiveness.
- Represent the Local Authority at various reviews, providing guidance and developing creative solutions for gaps in provision.
- Assist with the documentation for statutory assessments and provide information required by OFSTED.
- Participate in multi-agency groups, contributing to service provision decisions for vulnerable individuals transitioning post-16 and post-19.
