Key Responsibilities

As a Service Controller in Middlesbrough, you'll ensure smooth and efficient service operations across all customer requirements.

Coordinating engineer schedules for planned maintenance, servicing and breakdowns
Liaising with customers, engineers and suppliers to ensure work is completed efficiently
Managing breakdowns, repairs and urgent service requests
Monitoring job progress and keeping customers updated throughout the service process
Maintaining accurate service records, job sheets and system updates
Supporting site teams with service advice, updates and compliance requirements
Assisting with invoicing, customer enquiries and general service administration
Building strong relationships across the business, customers and supplier network

What we're looking for

To succeed as a Service Controller in Middlesbrough, you'll ideally have:

Experience with in Forklift, Plant Hire, powered access, HGV, crane, agricultural machinery or a similar service environment
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced service office
Confident communication skills with customers, engineers and suppliers
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Good attention to detail when managing service processes
