Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a compressed working week that gives you more time to do what you love? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established manufacturing business in Middlesbrough, offering a great salary and a shift pattern that gives you three days off every week.

The Role

As Electrical Engineer, you'll be a key part of the engineering team, responsible for keeping critical plant and equipment running at optimum performance. You'll be working across both planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault-finding, playing a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of the site.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across electrical systems and equipment
Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimise production downtime
Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects on site
Working to health and safety standards and internal compliance requirements
Collaborating with the wider engineering and operations teams

What We're Looking For

Recognised electrical qualification - City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent
Solid background in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
18th Edition wiring regulations (desirable)
A proactive, reliable engineer who takes pride in their work

The Package

Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
Friday to Monday, 10-hour shifts
Shift options: 5:30am - 1:30pm or 11:00am - 8:00pm
Compressed week - enjoy three days off every week
