Junior Estimator

We require a Junior Estimator who will assist in the review of customer enquiries, technical drawings and specifications to support the preparation of quotations and tender submissions. Working closely with experienced estimators, production teams and supply chain partners. The role will develop knowledge of fabrication methods, material requirements, labour estimation and commercial costing. Whilst ensuring estimates are prepared accurately and in line with customer requirements and company procedures.

Key Tasks

• Assist with the review of customer enquiries, drawings, specifications and scope of work documents.
• Interpret engineering and fabrication drawings, bills of materials and technical specifications.
• Support the preparation of cost estimates for materials, labour, subcontract services, plant and equipment.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Assist with the compilation of tender documentation and quotation packages.
• Maintain estimating records, cost databases and quotation registers.
