Nigel Wright are currently supporting a Teesside based business with their Payroll Specialist requirement. This role is initially a 6 month contract offering an immediate start. Also on offer is hybrid working (3-4 days from home).
The Role
As Payroll Specialist, you will:
- Supporting the end to end processing of monthly payroll
- Ensuring payroll is accurate and processed in line with deadlines
- Inputting and checking payroll data including starters, leavers, and amendments
- Handling queries from employees regarding pay, tax, and deductions
- Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting where required
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Experience with in a payroll environment (end-to-end or part-process)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of payroll processes and legislation
- Confident working with payroll systems and Excel
- Available on short notice
