My client a successful and well-respected food manufacturer in the Middlesbrough area are seeking a Senior Specifications Technologist to join their Technical department, you will take a key role in supporting the New Product Development Team and Technical teams to ensure product specifications and information is correct

Key Responsibilities
 
* Ensure due diligence and take into consideration timescales, company procedures, legislation, and customer codes of practice
 
* Ensuring that correct technical information is on correct packaging
 
* Attendance at customer meetings
 
* To ensure you keep up to date with current legislation and company policies
 
* Ensuring that raw materials specifications are assessed according to standards
 
* Reviewing analytical data
 
* Be compliant with customer requirements
 
* Support to production to provide solutions
Skills and experience
 
* Understanding of HACCP, GMP and hygiene
 
* Basic understanding of Microbiology and Nutrition
 
* Minimum 2 years’ experience within Food Manufacturing
 
* Experience working with major retailers

- Friday, 8.30am-5pm
 
* Monday to Friday
