Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their hospital and practice team across Middlesbrough and Hartlepool. This role offers a varied caseload within a well‑equipped hospital environment, with no out‑of‑hours requirements and strong clinical support.
This position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys a mix of consulting, surgery, and inpatient care while working within a collaborative and supportive team. You will have access to modern facilities and a dedicated night team, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality patient care and developing your clinical interests.
Responsibilities- Providing consultations and preventative care for companion animals
- Managing medical cases and performing diagnostic investigations
- Carrying out routine and advanced surgical procedures
- Supporting inpatient care and hospitalised patients
- Working across both hospital and branch practice as required
- Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff
- Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent patient care
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in England
- Experience in small animal practice preferred
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to delivering high standards of patient and client care
- Up to 33 days holiday with buy/sell options
