Overview
De Lacy Executive’s client is a highly successful, progressive and forward‑thinking machinery company. We seek a Forestry Machinery Sales Manager to head up the sales of their specialist forestry product line in the UK & Ireland.
ResponsibilitiesYou will need an ARB/Forestry background, ideally with proven experience selling machinery or equipment into industry. You will generate and convert your own sales leads while developing and maintaining customer relationships. This role focuses on both B2B and B2C sales, managing and supporting our clients' dealers, and developing sales within the territory. You must be willing to travel around the region as required.
This is a home‑based position, although it will require travel throughout the territory and some nights away from home. The successful candidate will receive full product training.
- Good knowledge of the UK forestry industry
- Previous experience in forestry machinery or equipment sales
- Experienced relationship builder
- Proven sales and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic
- Good time management
- Full UK driving licence
