CCTV Controller

Vistech are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security CCTV Controller. This role involves overseeing surveillance systems to detect and prevent unauthorised activities. The ideal candidate will possess keen observational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a secure environment within a professional setting.

• Constantly monitor CCTV footage across multiple screens to identify suspicious or unusual activity
• Record and document security incidents accurately for future reference
• Conduct regular checks on surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Respond promptly to alarms or alerts, assessing situations and escalating as necessary
• Assist with loss prevention by observing and deterring theft or vandalism
• Provide first aid assistance when required, following established protocols
• Maintain detailed logs of daily surveillance activities and incidents
• Collaborate with security team members and other staff to uphold safety standards

• Prior experience in surveillance, security operations, or loss prevention is advantageous; training will be provided
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and monitoring software
• Basic knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond calmly under pressure.
• A responsible attitude with a high level of integrity and confidentiality

• You must hold a valid SIA CCTV & Front Line Licence
• You must be willing to work Monday
  - Sunday days and nights

• Contracted average 42 hours per week
• £15 an hour
