Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker
FOSTERING PEOPLE
Senior/Supervising Social Worker - Full Time, permanent.
Basic Salary:  up to £43,626.47 per annum, dependent upon experience

An exciting opportunity for a Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our OUTSTANDING fostering agency in the North East.
About Us

About the Role:

We are currently looking to recruit a  Senior/Supervising Social Worker  for our friendly and dynamic team to work with foster carers in the North East.
You will be responsible for the recruitment, training, assessment, support and supervision of a range of foster carers ensuring high quality placements for looked after children.

About You
The successful candidate must have:
A motivated and organised professional, able to work independently while building strong relationships with colleagues and foster carers.
Excellent assessment, communication and report-writing skills, along with confident IT skills.
A Social Work Qualification with current SWE registration.
Passionate about improving outcomes for children, you'll bring enthusiasm, initiative and a commitment to our innovative and child-focused approach, whether you're new to fostering or an experienced Supervising Social Worker.
Full UK Driving License and access to your own car.
Desirable:  Experience in fostering and children's services, but we welcome applications from less experienced candidates. You'll also have a good understanding of fostering, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
