Housing Officer Cambridgeshire (Hybrid Working - 3 days office / 2 days home) Full Time £24-£26 per hour Umbrella PAYE option available Initial up to 6-month contract Weekly rolling arrangement Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) case management Income management and rent arrears recovery Tenancy management and enforcement Estate and neighbourhood management Resident engagement and complaint resolution Multi-agency partnership working Home visits and estate inspections Managing complex and escalated housing cases Essential Requirements Previous Housing Officer experience within social housing Strong ASB investigation and case management experience Income management and arrears recovery knowledge Experience using PCOL and legal enforcement processes Ability to manage complex cases independently Excellent communication and resident engagement skills Full UK driving licence This role would suit an experienced Housing Officer who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and delivering outcomes for residents.
The successful candidate will play a key role in tackling a backlog of housing management work and helping the service return to a proactive, patch-based model.
