Youth​/Gen Pastor, Middlesex, NC

MidPoint Church is seeking a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled Pastor to lead a dynamic and growing youth and young adult ministry. This leader will help students and career aged individuals know God, find freedom, discover their purpose, and make a difference. The ideal candidate will be passionate about discipling young people, equipping volunteers, and reaching the next generation both inside and outside the church walls.

• Plan and lead weekly youth services, including teaching, worship, games, and small groups
• Organize events such as camps, retreats and community outreach
• Build relationships with students and parents, offering spiritual guidance and pastoral care
• Recruit, train, and support a team of adult and student volunteers
• Develop and implement age-appropriate discipleship programs and curriculum
• Partner with schools and community organizations to connect with local youth
• Promote youth ministry events through social media and other communication channels
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment by following child protection and safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with the church staff and leadership team
• Maintain ministry calendar, budget, and administrative responsibilities

• A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects spiritual maturity
• Agreement with MidPoint Church’s beliefs, mission, and vision
• Experience leading or serving in youth ministry (volunteer or staff); pastoral experience preferred
• Strong communicator with the ability to teach biblical truth in a way that connects with students
• Passionate about reaching and discipling middle and high school students
• Able to lead, encourage, and develop volunteer teams
• Organized and self-motivated with good time management skills
• Comfortable using technology, social media, and creative tools for ministry

• This role can be part-time or full-time based on candidate availability
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed for services and events
• Must pass a background check and complete child safety training
