The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our Finance Department in managing daily financial operations. This key role will focus on supporting the Financial Controller in all periodic reporting, daily financial operations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a multi-departmental hospitality business, specifically with income audits and financial management processes.

- Take responsibility for managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Income Audit (IA) processes.
- Oversee daily revenue reconciliation, ensuring all revenue is accurately recorded and processed.
- Conduct Food and Beverage review and analysis to assess financial performance.
- Perform UK bank reconciliations and ensure all bank transactions are accurately reflected.
- Handle balance sheet work, including reconciliations and adjustments as needed.
- Assist the Financial Controller in all periodic financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures across all activities within the finance department and the hotel.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects or other tasks as required by the Finance Department.
- Produce Management Information Reports as required by Senior Management.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values:
- Strong experience in income audit within a multi-departmental hospitality business.
- Proven experience working in a self-accounting environment..
- An understanding of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
