What you’ll be doingJoin us on this mission as a Cell Operative at our Denham site. We have an impressive Machine Shop and this role will be undertaking processes for the manufacture of parts on a variety of machine tools contributing to the success of ejector seats produced onsite, to ultimately save lives.
Aspects of the role include to:
- Setting and operating manual and CNC machines to manufacture components to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Inspectingcomponents produced on the cell to the required quality procedures using conventional measuring techniques.
- Carrying out basic maintenance on machine and tools in accordance with TPM programme and machine manuals.
- Deburring of components to required standard is completed within machine cycle.
- Machine shop experience with the ability to work to technical drawings & specifications.
- Experience of operating/programming CNC machines and tool setting, deburring,milling & turning.
- Experience of being able to inspect components in accordance with quality procedures and standards.
