Department/Unit Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Services Director and general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer and according to established policies and procedures coordinates total nursing care for patients, participants in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Vascular Access Team/Special Procedures, Radiology and Cardiology/Cardiac Cath Lab.

Work is of a very confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:

· BLS and ACLS required

· Two years of professional,acute care nursing experience required. 1 to 2 years of experience as a Vascular Access Team (PICC) RN, or Radiology, or Cardiology/Cardiac Cath Lab RN preferred.
