Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:

· ADN required, BSN preferred

· BLS and ACLS required

· 2-3 years RN experience required, at least 1-year supervisory experience preferred
Department/Unit Summary
A new opportunity is available for our Critical Care as an RN Manager for Telemetry/ICU. Our Telemetry unit is 22 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6. We are staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Monitor Techs providing care for patients for a mix of patients including Med/Surg. In addition, our 18-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), our ICU operates with a 1:2/3 nurse to patient ratio. Patients treated on this included vents, continuous BiPAP, vasopressor drips, DKA on insulin drips, ETOH on CIWA and a mix op intermediate care.
This position reports to the Director of Critical Care and performs the following essential functions:

• Defines the mission for the department and shares the corporate vision with assigned staff.

• Directs operations and administration of the department under the general guidance of his/her Administrative Representative.

• Develops and directs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
