Delivery Driver

Supreme HVAC is looking for a Delivery Driver who is responsible for transporting HVAC equipment and supplies to job sites, warehouses, or customers
. The Delivery Driver loads and unloads materials, ensures proper handling and safety, and maintains delivery schedules.

• Safely drives on the road delivering products in various weather conditions
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspection sheets
• Inspects equipment to ensure safe operating conditions – checks oil and fuel prior to leaving the yard
• Secures load and/or inspects load to ensure it has been properly secured
• Performs duties consistent with all applicable safety, DOT and Company rules
• Conducts preventive maintenance on the truck and ensures truck is clean
• Maintains appropriate driving records, logs, and shipping documents as required
• Verifies shipping documents for accuracy, and obtains customer’s signature on paperwork upon delivery
• Safely loads and unloads trucks
• Clean out vans as needed
• Willing to drive out of state
• Completes paperwork as required
• Participates in safety programs and meetings
• Performs other duties as required

• Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Safe driving skills: proven abilities to safely operate a flat bed or box truck
• Must meet and pass DOT standards
• Forklift Certified
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Working knowledge of vehicle parts, and how to handle minor repairs to ensure vehicle is in proper operating conditions
• Ability to safely load/transfer products to designated locations in a timely manner without causing damage
• High level of attention to detail and surroundings
• Must be reliable and dependable; and able to work assigned hours and days (6am-2:30pm)
