Environmental & Sustainability Advisor| Power Generation, Energy Infrastructure & BESS

Environmental & Sustainability Advisor required to join a well-established engineering business operating within the power generation and energy infrastructure sector. This is a position where you'll have the opportunity to influence environmental performance, carbon reduction and sustainability initiatives across a growing organisation delivering complex engineering projects.
What You'll Be Doing
 
Managing and improving the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
Supporting carbon reduction and Net Zero initiatives
Greenhouse gas accounting and carbon reporting
Scope 3 emissions assessments and supply chain engagement
Supporting Carbon Reduction Plans and sustainability strategies
Environmental audits and compliance activities
Producing sustainability and environmental performance reports
Supporting major project and tender submissions
Driving environmental improvement initiatives across the business

You'll Ideally Have
 
A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or similar
MIEMA, FIEMA or CIWEM membership
Experience operating and maintaining ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
Knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting and carbon reporting

Experience with Scope 3 emissions assessments
Sustainability reporting experience
Understanding of environmental legislation and compliance requirements
Full UK Driving Licence
