Based within one of the UK’s leading FMCG manufacturing groups, this role will be based in Middleton where the facility will benefit from further investment this year. The manufacturing group has over 100 years of experience and offers a secure working environment.

• Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering
• Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery
• Understanding of PPM Systems

• Experienced, time‑served Electrical Maintenance Engineer
• Experience with boilers, effluent, pumps, valves
• Comfortable working in a regulated environment and compliance with procedural processes
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activity, identifying corrective maintenance required, and executing that activity
• Work autonomously and prioritise workload effectively
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts; knowledge of 5S, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement is an advantage
• Strong understanding and commitment to the site’s key objectives:
  Health, Safety and Environment, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and Morale & Engagement
• Focus on achievement, continuous improvement, growth, effective communication, embrace change, and commercial and organisational savvy
