Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Salary: £48,000 per annum
Location: Middleton
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating 3 shifts:

  • 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  • 10:00pm – 6:00am

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias), you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a modern manufacturing facility, ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding
  • Maintaining and improving 13 specialist production lines
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working closely with production to minimise downtime
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
  • An electrical bias with strong fault-finding skills
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or factory environment (all industries considered)
  • A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
