We are seeking a full-time Mixer Driver to join our team at MARK BATES & SONS LIMITED. This is an on-site role operating from our Westhoughton plant. The Mixer Driver will be responsible for operating company trucks to transport and deliver materials, safely operating the vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations, and efficiently and discharging materials on customer sites. Additional tasks will include performing routine vehicle inspections and ensuring that all loads meet safety standards.
Qualifications- Possession of a valid CDL Class 2 license
- Valid digital tachograph card
- Driver CPC
- Mixer driving preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of DOT regulations to ensure compliance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining vehicle safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
