Practical Nursing Faculty

Become a key educator at NSCC as a Faculty in Practical Nursing, located at the Annapolis Valley Campus, Middleton, Nova Scotia. Deliver both theoretical and practical instruction while supporting student success in a dynamic learning environment.

NSCC is hiring two full-time Faculty members to commence around August 24, 2026. Candidates must hold an accredited nursing diploma or degree and be eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN). A minimum of five years recent clinical experience in nursing is required, with teaching expertise as a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in the Practical Nursing program

• Supervise on-site clinical training and evaluations

• Develop educational experiences using various technologies

• Ensure adherence to health and safety practices

• Participate in curriculum development and community engagement

Requirements:

• Accredited Nursing Program Diploma or higher

• Registration or eligibility with NSCN

• Five years of relevant nursing experience

• Familiarity with teaching in digital environments

• Commitment to lifelong learning and diversity
