Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Position Summary
Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, shaping the future of health care through customer‑focused service. They work independently or as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others one customer at a time.
Essential Functions- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues.
- Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and help locate additional items.
- Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
- Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
- Provide support to all departments (photo, beauty, etc.), ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
- Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities.
- Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
- Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
- Lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently, with occasional overhead lifting.
- Maintain visual acuity for computer tasks, reading, and inspection of small parts.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Pay RangeTypical pay range: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour.
Anticipated Weekly Hours25 hours – part time.
