Accounting Manager – High-Impact Role with a Stable Organization

A stable and well‑established organization is seeking a hands-on, detail‑oriented Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations, strengthen financial reporting accuracy, and oversee a small team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in owning core accounting processes.

• Oversee all daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger activity, and full‑cycle payroll processing
• Manage month‑end close, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements
• Supervise, mentor, and support a small accounting team
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain effective internal controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure accuracy within the ERP/accounting system and identify workflow improvements
• Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and documentation
• Partner cross‑functionally with leadership and key departments

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior supervisory or team‑lead experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close processes, and general ledger management
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
• Experience with ERP/accounting software
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
