Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, 16 hours per week.
What You’ll DoNursing Administrative Assistants provide clerical support to our nursing teams, ensuring efficient operations and contributing to the exceptional care provided to patients and residents.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting and assisting visitors, residents, and staff in person and over the phone.
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentation.
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date resident and/or staff records and charts.
- Scheduling appointments and arranging meetings.
- Assisting with data entry, filing, and maintaining inventory of office supplies.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to facilitate smooth operations.
- May support general nursing, MDS, Case Management, Scheduling or other functional areas.

Qualifications of a Nursing Administrative Assistant include:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Additional certification or coursework in office administration is a plus.
- May require experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and in specific functional areas in a long‑term care setting.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Patience and the ability to relate tactfully with staff, residents, family, etc.
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, including proficiency in the English language and grammar.
- Proficiency in office software and basic computer skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
