The Construction / Masonry Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Middletown, CT. This position oversees masonry construction and restoration projects from planning through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. The Project Manager coordinates field crews and subcontractors, ensures adherence to safety standards and building codes, and conducts regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality. Daily responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, preparing project documentation, tracking costs, managing change orders, and communicating with clients, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders.

The role also involves resolving on-site issues, supporting team development, and continuously improving project processes to meet deadlines and performance goals.

• Project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning for construction or masonry projects.
• Technical knowledge of masonry construction methods, materials, restoration techniques, and building codes.
• Strong leadership abilities to supervise field crews, coordinate subcontractors, and foster a safety-focused work environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with construction documentation, such as blueprints, specifications, contracts, and change order management.
• Experience with construction management software, project tracking tools, and basic computer applications.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality control, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Several years of experience in construction or masonry project management, or a closely related supervisory role.
• Relevant education such as a degree, certification, or technical training in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Middletown, CT, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing project demands.
