Customer Service Representative – Key Account

Plastic Design is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented
part-time
(20 hrs/wk) Customer Service Representative to manage our largest and most important customer account. You'll be this customer's main day-to-day contact, keeping their production lines supplied by monitoring inventory, processing purchase orders, and releasing product on time. This is a high-impact role: your accuracy and follow-through directly affect our biggest customer relationship.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for our largest customer, responding to questions, requests, and issues promptly and professionally
• Enter and process 10–20 purchase orders per day with a high level of accuracy
• Monitor the customer's inventory levels and release product to match their production schedule
• Track our internal inventory levels and flag potential shortages before they become problems
• Coordinate with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Resolve order discrepancies, delays, and changes quickly and clearly
  
  Maintain accurate records of orders, releases, and customer communications

• 3+ years of experience in customer service, order entry, inventory control, or a related role
• Strong attention to detail; you catch errors before they reach the customer
• Ability to manage a steady daily workload and stay organized under pressure
• Clear, professional communication by phone and email
• Comfortable with computers, Microsoft Excel, and order entry or ERP systems.
• Proactive mindset: you anticipate needs rather than react to them

• Experience supporting a manufacturing or production customer
• Background in supply chain, materials planning, or logistics
• Experience managing a key or high-volume account
