What You Will Do
- Design engineer supporting Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO) organization – Fan and High Pressure Compressor rotor focus
- Work closely with a team of fellow engineers of various disciplines
- Support internal and external vendors with engineering evaluations of rotating hardware for all production engines
- Hands-on review of parts to aid in manufacturing and producibility improvement
- Travel approximately 10%
- This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.
- A typical rotation consists of 3 different discipline roles with 8 months each.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Experience working in the Aerospace Industry within the design and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Teamcenter, Unigraphics, Ansys, and classical methods of analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
