We are currently hiring a Mechanical Engineer/PFP in our Middletown, CT office.

• Designs plumbing and fire protection portions of a project using engineering formulas and skills for ensuring safety and technical accuracy.
• Identifies and selects equipment from appropriate manufacturing catalogs for specific applications.
• Ability to perform on‑site investigations and surveys prior to design and during construction.
• Coordinates the contract documents between engineering disciplines for architects.
• Provides technical support to contractors throughout construction.
• Performs his or her own drafting/design using AutoCAD and/or Revit and reviews own work for accuracy.
• Performs hydraulic calculations using computer software.
• Coordinates utility requirements with local utility companies including obtaining hydrant flow test data for project sites.

• B.S. degree preferred in mechanical engineering with 2 to 5 years of job‑related experience.
• Ability to draft using AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Strong oral and written skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
