Location: Middletown, CT (Onsite, with travel up to 35%)
Salary Range: $80,000- $95,000

Introduction4 Corner Resources is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with aerospace/ defense experience to ensure suppliers meet contractual, regulatory, and internal quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, methodical, and experienced in supplier audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action management. RequiredSkills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
- Supplier Quality Engineering experience in the aerospace/ defense industry.
- Hands‑on experience with supplier audits, First Article Inspections (FAIs), supplier assessments, and corrective action processes.
- Strong knowledge of ISO/AS9100 standards.
- Ability to travel up to 35%.
- 5-10 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
- Experience supporting Lean initiatives at supplier sites.
- Conduct supplier audits, surveys, and facility assessments for compliance with ISO/AS9100 and contractual requirements.
- Perform supplier qualifications, performance monitoring, and development activities.
- Review and document First Article Inspections (FAIs).
- Investigate supplier defects and drive root cause/corrective action.
- Maintain supplier approval and rating systems to support procurement decisions.
- Coordinate Supplier Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and manage Supplier Requests for Variance.
- Act as the primary interface with suppliers to resolve technical issues.
- Collect and analyze supplier performance data and implement improvement plans.
