• Perform structural analysis of Fan, Low-Pressure Compressor (LPC) components via hand calculations and finite element analysis
• Utilize analysis results to provide recommendations/proposals to the Integrated Product Team (IPT)
• Work closely with all engineering disciplines on the IPT to identify balanced solutions to technical tasks
• Utilize the latest P&W structural best practices and analytical tools
• Provide documentation of analyses in the form of formal reports and presentations for management and customers
• Identify structural risks within work of moderate scope to ensure project completion Travel up to 10%

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience
• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Airfoils/Blades
• Proficiency in structural finite element methods
• Focus on results and the ability to drive tasks to completion
• Demonstrated experience leveraging excellent written and oral communication skills to convey results and ideas effectively to drive business
• Demonstrated experience working well within a team and possessing a positive attitude toward meeting individual and group commitments

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
