A local healthcare organization is seeking compassionate and caring pet therapy volunteers to join their team. As a volunteer, you will provide emotional and task-oriented support to patients and their families, particularly those at the end of life. No prior experience is necessary, as the organization will prepare and support you throughout your time as a volunteer. Requirements include being at least 18 years old and possessing a certified therapy animal.
A flexible weekly commitment of at least one hour for a minimum of six months is expected.
