LA Roofing LLC is looking for a motivated individual for the position of Project Management. This position will supervise a wide range of roofing projects from start to finish. The Project Manager is the liason between the work crew and the homeowner during the project and will oversee the entire process to ensure it’s completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of 2-5 years project management experience.
  • Experience with multiple roof types.
  • Implementation of various operations through proper coordination.
  • Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous, time-sensitive projects.
  • Effective time management and goodwill building ability.
  • Experience with the residential roofing or construction industry.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects in multiple locations.
  • Leadership experience, excellent problem solving and personnel management skills.
  • Ability to learn company supported CRM software and use of other electronics such as drones, email, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to climb ladder if necessary, and lift up to 45lbs.
  • Knowledge and experience of Local, State and Federal safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of and experience with procurement of contractors and supplies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel frequently to project sites.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
    Must be able to learn to haul dump trailers.
  • Basic Spanish is a plus but not required.
SUMMARY

The Roofing Project Manager has knowledge of and experience in;
Personnel, Project management and execution, Quality Control, Reporting and Safety.

The Roofing Project Manager will report directly to the Project Manager.

The work week is targeted at 40 hours: however, it is common for the work week to exceed 60 hours or for individual workdays to exceed 12 hours. The expectation is that the individual who takes on this position is flexible enough to comply with these potentially diverse hours of construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee projects from start to finish, utilizing the company’s CRM software.
  • Perform a key role in being the liaison between the work crew and the homeowner for all concerns and questions.
  • Communicate effectively, competently, and confidently with co-workers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Abide by LA Roofing’s daily requirements for all communications related to clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Respond to client’s correspondence daily via email, text and/or phone.
  • Proactively be in contact with the clients to prevent potential issues.
  • Provide timelines for schedules and invoicing (pre-construction and final walk-throughs).
  • Create Change Orders.
  • Work cooperatively with vendors when purchasing any additional materials the project may need.
  • Coordinate with work crews to complete projects per required deadlines.
  • Communicate progress with Project Manager and provide regular updates to clients and management on schedules to identify any changes or challenges that may arise.
  • Conduct regular inspections of construction sites and report progress to the Production Manager to identify any changes or challenges that may arise.
  • Review construction guidelines and best practices, adhering to OSHA, Federal, State and Local guidelines.
  • Ensure inspections by City/Town Building officials are completed without issue
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Participate in staff training and meetings as scheduled.
  • Follow supervisory/administrative directives and instructions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
