We are seeking a motivated individual with technical expertise and leadership skills to join our Cold Section Module Center (CSMC) team as a Cell Leader. In this role, you will lead a team of skilled employees, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in achieving safety, quality, production, and cost objectives while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Provide direction and guidance to skilled bargaining unit employees. Lead employee engagement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts aligned with organizational objectives. Drive sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through established systems and processes. Perform daily supervisory responsibilities, including managing attendance, approving timecards, and overseeing project execution. Establish and maintain work schedules based on customer requirements, resource availability, and operational priorities.

Facilitate team-building activities, conduct toolbox meetings, and foster effective communication to develop a cohesive and responsive team. Address operational challenges and engage employees in achieving cell performance goals. Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer satisfaction by leveraging CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) operating systems. Promote and uphold a commitment to safety, quality, and environmental health standards.

Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or a related field OR an Associate's degree and 7 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or a related field. In absence of a degree, High School Diploma/GED and 9 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or a related field Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including proficiency in Excel.

Experience working with all levels of management and within a union environment. SAP user experience. Leadership experience in a manufacturing or shop environment. Knowledge and application of Continuous Improvement principles, such as lean manufacturing, CORE, or QCPC. Self-directed with the ability to learn quickly and focus on achieving results.
