Full‑time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health, located in Middleton, CT. Scheduled hours:
Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. This is the 2nd shift, offering a consistent weekday schedule, quieter patient flow, and greater autonomy during evening hours.

• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice
• Delivers evidence‑based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and client
• Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow‑up care
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury prevention
• Assists with accident investigations, return‑to‑work programs, and workplace safety initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required;
  Bachelor’s degree (BSN) from a four‑year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice required
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN‑S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC, or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required depending on contract scope of services
• At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic
• Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return‑to‑work exams

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $40.00 – $50.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
