Science and STEM Summer Camp Assistant Teacher at Black Rocket Productions

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Assistant Instructors in our Summer STEM programs.

• Summer seasonal position (4–10 weeks) starting in June
• In‑room with kids ages 6–14
• Assist in delivering hands‑on STEM and baking activities
• Help facilitate classroom management and student engagement
• Complete paid training and follow program protocols

• Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions with reliable transportation
• Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required
• Strong science or baking background with familiarity in experimentation, the scientific method, engineering concepts, creative thinking, and/or baking
• Available to start online training in May prior to the start of summer (train at your own pace via our online portal)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (no work sponsorship or accommodations offered)
• Must be available to work a minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday
• Must love working with kids

• 18 years of age or older
• College students studying education, culinary arts, biology, chemistry, engineering, or other STEM related fields encouraged to apply
• Experience with kids in a formal or informal setting is a plus (babysitting, volunteering, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
• Rate: $15–$17 per hour
