Middletown Township Public Schools is looking for qualified paraprofessionals to work with our preschool and elementary students.
Paraprofessional- Category B and C
- Elementary Level
Positions Available:
Immediately - 6/30/2027
- Minimum of 48 college credits or Paraprofessional Praxis test required.
- BS/BA degree preferred
- NJ Teaching Certificate preferred
* Paraprofessionals who were hired and have been continuously employed with MTPS as of June 2005and passed the in-district paraprofessional assessment are not required to meet the qualifications above.
Responsibilities- Assists teacher in the delivery of effective instructional program
- Record and/or collect data under the direction of the teacher
- C/D Rate assignments:
Monitor and implement a student's Behavior Intervention Plan / Address behavior as required - C Rate assignments:
Assist with physical care of students, including mobility, feeding, toileting, and diapering
Hours of Assignment: Up to 29.75 hours per week
Hourly Rate:
- B Rate: $26.55
- C/D Rate: $30.41
