• Build relationships with current assigned customers to provide value and increase business share.
• Prospect for new accounts.
• Identify customer needs and goals to develop value-added strategies.
• Generate new business for the digital team from past, existing, and new customers.
• Collaborate with management to approach clients and sell digital solutions.
• Interact effectively with all levels of organizations, suppliers, and customers.
• Make sound decisions, define problems, gather facts, and obtain approvals as needed.
• Demo and sell the Cooper Electric website, mobile app, and other digital solutions for customers.
• Use product and technical knowledge to assist customers with product selection.
• Reach monthly sales and gross margin goals.
• Encourage the use of digital tools across the customer base.

• Sales experience and/or electrical knowledge preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate information clearly and present solutions to customers.
• English language proficiency (spoken, reading, and writing).
• Strong mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate computers and relevant software.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.

• Frequent travel by vehicle to customer locations or job sites.
• Exposure to seasonal temperatures indoors/outdoors.
• Requires near, distant, peripheral vision and depth perception for safety in warehouse and driving tasks.
• Ability to clearly hear in-person and by phone.
• Primarily light industrial and office settings; exposure to construction sites; moderate to high noise level.
