Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physiatrist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive non-surgical musculoskeletal, neurological, and rehabilitative care while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough clinical evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Manage a wide spectrum of conditions related to the specialty.
- Provide EMG studies.
- Perform procedures.
- Collaborate with physical therapy and other specialties for coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide patient education and promote safe recovery and optimal function.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in NY.
- Experience in outpatient practice.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical decision-making skills.
